About Me: I was born Chisenga Katongo in Lusaka, Zambia, Africa.
I've always loved music and many forms of Art.
I took on the alias C.R.I.$.I.$. and added dollar signs to my name in order for the name to stand out as my trademark.
In January, 2005, I was the first artist to release a Hip-Hop album in my country.
A year later, I was the first Zambian artist to perform at the Channel-O video Music Awards. It was an honor.
In 2007, I worked with Dj. Green Lantern on his Myspace Monster Mash. He picked the best unsigned rappers that he could get off Myspace and I was fortunate enough to have made it onto that Mixtape. It was called 'Myspace Monster Mash.'
In March 2007, I made my first international debut by releasing my U.K. debut, 'Designer.' Although it is my least favorite of my albums, it was a great achievement.
In October, 2007, I returned home and began working on my newest album "Mr. Swagger." It due to be released before July, 2009.
Mr. Swagger is my favorite work to date.
